Skylines is one giant city that starts sprawling outwards with different districts including Farming, agriculture, animal, specialized industry, office areas, ect. Simcity is more you make tiny little cities that interact with each other, while teh systems in place are a little more detailed and enjoyable. That being said Skylines is just miles ahead and is actually a city building game. My greatest enjoyment of both games was watching Skye Stormes Simcity lets plays and seeing how he could game the bugs and things that are wrong to make really unique and amazing cities in such small plots.
